Spooky Student Showcase Fundraiser

DAI is a start-up non-profit and we need your help to give opportunities and hands-on experience producing art in many forms.

Fundraiser Status: $4000

Fundraising Goals:

$4,000 gets a matching grant from MAC for the DeSoto Film Festival

$15,000 provides greater opportunities for young filmmakers

PLEASE DONATE TO HELP US TEACH YOUNG FILMMAKERS

Something beautiful is happening in your community and we need your help! DeSoto Arts Institute is a 501c3 non-profit and your donations are tax-deductible!

We are dreaming big, no doubt. But we believe great things are in the works. Tonight, we aim to raise $15,000 total with $4,000 of that matched by a Mississippi Arts Commission matching grant.

So the $4k + $4k match is earmarked for our 2nd Annual DeSoto film Festival to be held at Southpoint Church on April 22nd, 2021. The balance of our funds raised go to budgets for short films as well as improvements to our 5000 sf lease space inside the Southpoint Facilities. Inside this space are our studios, recording studio, and editing bays.

Imagine a place where anyone can learn to write, act, shoot, and produce film. Imagine having access to a fully-equipped sound stage in your local community. Imagine a recording studio staffed with producers and engineers with decades of experience producing music legends. Imagine motion picture directors, cinematographers, and VFX supervisors teaching you and your children how to work in the industry while staying true to who you are.

Imagine what you could do to help. Now stop imagining and join us. Please consider a one-time donation or a monthly donation.
