Truth Lies Upstream by Robb Rokk
A legendary lawman spends his last days trying to get the evidence he needed decades ago.
Desoto Arts Institute and Rockwell Visual partner once again for a short film titled Upstream to be directed by Robb Rokk and produced by Jesaiah Burnett. DAI film students will crew the film which is to be entered into the Memphis Film Prize competition.

Truth Lies Upstream screened in November 2022 and landed as a finalist.
The top ten finalist films were shown on Friday August 2nd and Saturday August 3rd. Each ticket holder sees all ten films in a block then is allowed to vote for their favorite three films. Five judges account for 50% of the vote and the audience accounts for the other 50%.
Truth Lies Upstream will screen at the 6th Annual Grenada Afterglow Film Festival. The film will play Saturday October 12th in the Social Impact Film Block at 4:15 pm in Grenada, MS. For tickets and more information, check out their website here!
